What evidence does Buc have for John of Gloucester being executed or is it mere speculation?
Sadly Buc doesn’t offer evidence. We can’t be sure how he arrived at that conclusion - whether he had access to evidence that no longer survives, or whether it was just a story doing the rounds with little or no basis.
Hi Matt, thanks for your response. What a pity we don't have an answer. He does vanish from history so I guess we can assume he died eight way.
